Genre', Figurative and Landscape Painter

Please enjoy any of my galleries.  But be sure to stop for a few moments at the Syrian Refugee Child page.  There you'll meet other children like Sener, who was just two years old when Jon Warner of World Vision took his photo.  Sener is living with his mother and two brothers in a Syrian Refugee camp in Jordan.  He may be there for many years - the average length of time in a refugee camp is seventeen years, an entire childhood. With permission from the photographer, I painted Sener's portrait, which was sent to a collector in exchange for a donation to a charity working in the camps.  That is the idea behind Painting Syria's Children: The Refugee Portrait Project.  Find us on Facebook to see other available children's portraits by me or any of the other 35 artists working to help the most vulnerable victims of Syria's Civil War.
